Weekend Lunch in The Bush Camp

Join us every Weekend for our exciting and now famous Soul Food Buffet Lunch in the bush camp overlooking Hartbeespoort Dam, surrounded by tranquil bush veld, the Magaliesburg Mountains and wild animals.

We start our adventure in the car park of Harties Harbour where we transfer onto open game viewing vehicles for our exciting safari into Kommando Nek game reserve for an opportunity to see all the wildlife i.e. Giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, sable, eland, nayla, before arriving at the camp for our soul food Buffet. We are well stocked with all non-alcoholic beers, cyders, wines and champagnes for your enjoyment.

We have now added Mountain Bike Trails, Horse Rides and Electric scooter (Trikes) rentals for you to do your own mini safari on the trails.

A hearty African welcome awaits us as we alight from the vehicles, with time to wander around the camp before settling down to a proper Northwest feast with all the trimmings. Be memorialized as animals come out of the bush to graze on feed left out for them right in front of the boma. Africa at it’s best.

Today is all about you, family and friends. Have lunch at leisure and feel all the stresses of the last week melting away in this relaxed environment. Bring your mountain bikes and try out our safe and fully fenced bush MTB trails for kids and adults, try your hand at fishing or don your cozies for a dip in our farm style pool on those hot summer days.

Ending it all with a visit to our Moer Koffie station for traditional African Dark slow roasted coffee with condensed milk, just like ouma used to brew it..... Add koeksisters and Melktert for an epic ending.

No rush here at all...... when you are ready, we will take you back to Harties Harbour.

Covid 19

As part of our response at readiness to accept guests after lockdown restrictions have relaxed we are taking the following precautions:

Guests can drive straight to the camp in their own vehicles
We are spreading tables around the entire camp under gazebos to ensure social distancing and to give you a little privacy with your family
Tables will be called up to the buffet one at a time where our ever smiling Chef, with gloves, will dish up for you from behind a Perspex guard
A bathroom attendant will sanitize the bathrooms after every use
Please rest assured that we fog and sanitize all tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery and seating areas before and after every seating
