The Bush Camp in Kommando Nek Private Reserve, overlooking Hartbeespoort Dam and cradled in the Magaliesberg Mountain Range, is a sought-after Out of Africa destination wedding venue. Offering old world exceptional service, mouth-watering food and a one-of-a-kind safari experience.

Our accommodation options encompass a variety of various star rated guesthouses and lodges within Kosmos as well as camping and tented facilities that are located at various sites on our 500-hectare private reserve. The combined experience of our team will ensure that Your Dream Wedding will be one to treasure. Whilst providing the perfect setting for traditional weddings, our flexible space and ‘nothing is impossible’ attitude combine to enable us to offer an array of choices for the more unique, individual and exceptional wedding.

The Boma, a large 80 seater towering thatch venue set in a large manicured garden with it’s own open air lapa and huge fire pit for those stary nights filled with good friends and wine. A bridal room, farm style swimming pool just add to the experience. We offer additional seating in the form of a 50 seater safari tent which can be erected for additional guests. All of this against a backdrop of breath-taking natural beauty.

Ceremonies can either be held in the Boma, on the lawn at the water’s edge or perhaps at the beautiful Kosmos Garden Chapel where our local Pastors will be very happy to perform your marriage ceremony.

Transfers into the Reserve via game vehicles are included, adding to the tranquillity of the venue, also setting the scene for the ultimate “Out of Africa” wedding safari.

Why not incorporate a boat cruise on one of our passenger boats for you and your guests, enjoy a glass of bubbly while we cruise the waters of Harties….. Then again why not get married on the water?
